QR buttons are intended to give useful information about people who are unable to remember certain information, feel disoriented or have a disease. They are personal and unique. The QR code is a binary encoding where personal data about the person is entered (a phone number, a GoogleMaps address, a blood type, a medication, etc.) and can be decoded using a free application for mobile phone.
Using additive manufacturing system (3D-Print), which allows the production of a many buttons in one single series, with diverse geometries, different codes and colours, makes them inexpensive. QR buttons are printed on a ceramic material that leaves them completely finished. No batteries are needed and they are easily attached onto clothing.
